Advanced Charging Technologies (ACT) is seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to provide hands-on technical support and application expertise for our industry-leading charging and energy solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical liaison between ACT, our service dealer network, and end users-ensuring the highest levels of product performance, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary technical resource for ACT's charging products, systems, and solutions.
  • Support and train service dealers and established service networks in product installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Provide functional technical support to internal teams and external customers via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Assist customers in resolving field service and performance issues, coordinating solutions with engineering and production teams.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, application analysis, and configuration recommendations to support customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of technical support cases, resolutions, and field feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and technical bulletins to enhance dealer and customer knowledge.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment providing application engineering, customer service, or technical support.
  • Proven experience working with or supporting service dealer networks and field service operations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or battery charging systems preferred.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly to varied audiences.
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and teamwork mindset.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites, trade shows, and service centers (approx. 25%).

 

Pay: $110,000-$125,000
